The calculators run entirely in your browser. The salary, hours and other figures you enter are not sent to us or anyone else, and are not stored.
Information collected when you visit
Hosting
Like all websites, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. They use it to deliver the site and protect it from attack. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (running a secure website). The provider keeps these logs for a short period under its own policy.

If you email us
If you contact us, we use your email address and message to reply (legitimate interests). We keep correspondence for up to 2 years, then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data and to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done before.
We hold very little personal data. In practice, most data about your visit is held by Google (for ads) or our host, and you can also contact them directly.

The site is aimed at adults working in schools and isn't intended for children.
